Back when the original macintosh and personal computers first started catching on, I forked out $4500 to upgrade from my IBM XT to a x486. I had 20 MB of RAM, more that anyone else I knew. I bought my first copy of Photoshop. It was version 2.5.1. I used CorelDraw! 4 back then and was thrilled when 5 came out. But the learning curves were steep on all these programs so when Bryce and 3DMax started taking hold, I realized 3D wasn't going to be my field. I knew I couldn't stay on top of everything that was coming out, no matter how much I wanted to. So I stayed focused on what painting and using what was becoming available to enhance and streamline my process.
